Monica Delnorte

My adventure begun on 1970: I was born then. Artistic family, beautiful nature and iron curtain surrounded me. At beginning the world was big and interesting but soon I realised that there has to be a way out to the free air.
On 1988 the history was rewritten in Estonia and my mind was filled with new visions. Soon they become reality: bigger and better than I had courage to dream.
I met two lovely people on my journey who still do inspire me daily: my children.
I found a new home on a new country.
As our life here is just a breath moment I want to make most of it. I want to translate emotions to visual images and let others to reflect on my interpretation of love. I can’t waste my time on evil therefore I never paint ugliness. Even when the beauty of colours is somehow twisted it’s still there to melt down dirt and horror. This is my hope and tool in art: love and colours.
