Michelle Odelin

Born in France in 1952 with a juridical background and having no formal education in art, I discovered my passion for painting whilst travelling the world.

I approach painting by working in the moment, my mind is continually running with so many ideas, I need to create with all the energy I feel, it’s necessary for me to set free. I can’t work on many paintings at all times because it’s for me impossible to follow my thoughts. I generally work one piece in many sessions by making sensitive associations between my feelings, my thoughts, the colors and the drawing. My work is always changing.
The source of my art is in my life, what happen around me, why the world is so crazy. There are so many things to paint.
