Jean Gaya

Young designer of thirty-two years, experienced in lighting design, I very early turned to artistic creation. Constantly experimenting, I nevertheless remain particularly attached to traditional drawing techniques on paper.
Paper is a fragile medium and is particularly sensitive to the trace of pigment, but also to the effects of passing time, Time to create a book or to fold an ORIGAMI, the time it takes the time to reduce them to rubble, and us too !
These paper figures talk to each other, as if they were animated by an inner life or rather a story : that of men, that of creation, creation as a safe-conduct for posterity?
