Jaro
JFrom her earliest days, Jaro was initiated into artistic disciplines by her father ( a painter, sculptor and jeweller ). She participates in various workshops.
During a long stay in Central America, she devotes herself to painting within a group of local painters.
Back to France, her paintings evolves and sculpting and ceramics come to complete her fields of investigation. From her stay in a Mayan country, she will keep a special attraction for the stone.
Her original sculptures are often rounded-shaped and generously curved, mainly achieved through direct carving (alabaster, gypsum, marble, soapstone, Paris Stone….) and sometimes through modelling.
The human is at the center of her works, whether directly or indirectly.
